I honestly can't say why I had this week's entry captured this way. At the time I was doing the edit, I just saw the look of completion even though the legs were missing and I decided to roll with it. Seeing how well this one turned out, I might try it again next week depending on the nature of the card and the way it turns out.
I went back to my tradition this time and used my Blue pen as the first print.
I confirmed this and made it firm with my Black pen.
After the layout was confirmed I added depth at certain areas to make sure that the image was firm seeing that I jad limited colors with limited depth perspectives.
The next stage was to have her tone stablished and I did that lightly too. This lightness gave me time to think and easily improvise later where necessary
I believe that at this point the changes are getting obvious. I shaded her eyes, her scarf and touched her arms.
Next I shaded her body and areas I felt needed more layers. T layering was smooth and steady to avoid denting the paper.
And soon I got to the end of the road. As it happens though, I had to skip the legs. I wanted to cut it out while editing too but I felt like keeping things real.
The materials I used while making this sketch are Blue Green, Orange, Yellow, Red and Black pens.
You are more than welcome to stop by any time you feel like it. I promise to always keep you entertained with my art.
