Last week I shared the personality of the Queen of Crows, how cool and economical it was. I didn't want to disappoint this time around so I made use of another card I admired. I know from time to time you have seen the Obsidian before but I promise you it has never been this way. I first drew the face of a young man who had an intense look. I thought of drawing the staff behind him one way or another but I felt upon trial that it might not sit well.
The first process was me using my blue pen to draw a layout which the entire piece of art would follow.
...after doing that, I used my black pen to shade it out and make it more firm so that the highlight and depth areas can be easily drawn....
I shaded the eyes and tried the little crown on his head.
The hair was next and since I had gotten an expansion of colors I used the purple I had.
I drew and shaded his pendant and even touched the cloth around it.
Instead of drawing the full attire, I drew something like huge clothing similar to coats worn during winter and shaded it blue...
And now you have the final piece.
The materials I used while making this sketch are Blue, Black, Red and Purple pens.
You are more than welcome to stop by any time you feel like it. I promise to always keep you entertained with my art.
