The popstar like pose that the Splinterlands character Lorna Shine gives is one badass signature. I immediately traced this in my mind the very moment I saw the reference which I later adapted to this. At some point I thought of omitting the sword so as to concentrate on the dress and her posture but I changed my mind. The reason was that I perceived the sword to be part of the costume. Lately I've been having a great time and because of this I have made up spare time for other drawings outside contests and I would like for you to anticipate.
Without hesitation, I drew the lineart with my blue pen. I made sure it was a bit firm since this time around I was very certain about the result I wanted...
...traced it out with my black pen and made sure that for the most part it aligned with my earlier roadmap...
...it was after this that I touched the hair and other parts I felt were necessary...
..next I added shades to the body of the figure where I felt necessary..
after putting in the final touches, the sketch was good to go.
The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER
