There are plenty of things that inspire me into creating content, most often I like to write from my experiences because I tend to speak the truth and not just apply philosophies that have been put together by people. I joined Hive a year ago, not because I loved writing but because I believed I had something to say. As I started to blog, I found other niches that made me write stories, make collages, and participate in contests, all these sharpened my creative process to think outside the box.
Before I joined Hive, I had the goal of writing down everything that transpired in my day. I wanted to collectively get the meaning of life through my errors, pains, guilt, happiness, etc. With the hope that I could write a book someday that will help the younger generation, that didn't happen. I was too lazy to consistently write down every activity that happened in my day, so when I joined Hive, it became easy for me to write about life.
Recently, I mostly engage in contests with a provided prompt to write on, but most posts I make are life post outside contests and they're inspired by either what I had passed through, experienced from others, or learned from another person. So whenever I'm not creating a post with a prompt, I reflect on my life and write something out of it.
One other thing that inspires me to write is the desire to improve my writing skills. Sometimes I pick a random word or Topic and tries to gain mastery as I fumble with words, I don't think hard neither do I try to follow some lay down procedures, I just write anything that comes to my head and later make editing- I do this whenever I am having a writer's block or feel like writing but has no idea coming to my head.

Do I jolt?
No, I just allow the words to flow. I don't like the stress of dirtying papers trying to get the right word or place to fix a word. I enjoy writing directly on the site, I may pause and allow myself to think, sometimes I may clear the post I have written, however, it seems easier and neater to write directly on the site. So, I don't jolt nor do I have some diary I copy from, I only allow my head to think.
Finally, I'm still looking at having a particular style of writing. I want to be unique, it mustn't be what's accepted by everyone but it should be a style of writing that combines humor, truth, challenging thoughts, and freewrite. The creative process gets improved everyday.
