Hey guys, I'm very new to the world of cryptocurrency (about one week to be exact). So far, I love it. Just wanted to share a little (huge) mistake I made this morning when creating a wallet. Okay, story time:
I came across a token which I think looks very promising so I created a wallet on their platform. A random passcode of 12 letters was created and I copied it down on a piece of paper (so I thought). Then I transferred 11 tokens from poloniex to this wallet (mistake #2). When I went to sign back in: Invalid Passcode sigh. Looks like I copied the passcode down wrong. It was literally in front of my face. Live & learn, right?
Thankfully it was only a loss of about $40 but a huge learning experience.
Has anyone else made a rookie mistake like this??? Please share.
