(MCM 214) Content Calendar cycle - Week 1
In accordance with Dr Yarteys visionary for a more vibrant and thorough take on the media depiction of the student council of covenant university, our content calendar cycle staples a weekly roaster that creates content on a more frequent basis that encourages engagement and plans to optimize student interaction. follower attraction and ultimately rebrand the student council. This first week sample along with additional concepts shows what we are willing to implement and contribute in our collaboration with you.

Monday
• Video 1: Introductory Video
• Social media Inquiry story poll asking audience and students how they feel about the new student council.
• Chairperson introduces the Student Council and explains its purpose. Sets the tone for the upcoming week’s engagement.
Tuesday
• Creative and vibrant poster of the Student council.
• Create a vibrant poster showing all council members.
Wednesday
• Video 2: Meet the Council Members
• Each person along the council roaster will state their goals, who they are and their vision (video length span: (45 -1:00)
• Each member introduces themselves, their position, and outlines their goals for the term. Helps students connect with the faces behind the council.
Thursday
• Story posts
• Story post on concurrent activities, daily responsibilities and tasks that council members have to do
Friday
• Video 3: Student Opinions
• Ask students what they think of the Student Council. Include vision statements and council plans based on student feedback. As a copywriting and production intern, my diligence and efforts have resulted in significant contributions towards our group progress and overall growth concerning our mandate. I assisted in writing content, creating encouraging promotional materials, and contributing to the production process.
Challenges
One of the major challenges we faced was scheduling group meetings that were suitable for all group members given their availability and individual academic schedules. There were also occasional struggles in generating creative ideas.
Progress so far
So far, I have been able to make significant contributions to our group:
Suggested a professional brand name which was adopted by the team.
Conducted primary research.
Highlighted and made specifications regarding our target audience.
Created persuasive messages to gather more feedback for surveys.
Provided a base script in collaboration with other interns.
