Love is not measured by how many hours you spend together or how many messages you send in a day. Sometimes two people can talk constantly and still feel far apart. Other times, people can go hours without speaking and still feel completely connected.
Real love is about caring even when you are not physically together. It is knowing the person you love well enough to understand when something is wrong, even when they do not explain everything. It is remembering the little things about them because they matter to you.
Love also needs faith. You cannot expect someone to prove their love every minute of every day. If every missed call, late reply, or quiet moment becomes a reason to question the relationship, love can slowly turn into anxiety. Trust means knowing that silence does not automatically mean something has changed.
People have lives outside their relationships. They get busy, tired, distracted, overwhelmed, or simply need some time to themselves. That does not erase the feelings they have for you.
What matters is what remains underneath the communication. Do they care about your feelings? Do they respect you? Do they make an effort when it matters? Do you feel that they genuinely want you to be happy?
You do not have to be in constant contact to be deeply connected. Love should not feel like you are constantly checking whether it is still there. Sometimes you have to step back, breathe, and have faith in what you have built together.
Because at the end of the day, love is not about always being beside someone. It is about still caring about them when they are not.Underline
