I am one of the last men standing.

The most of people around me got sick. It's the season of flu (influenza) and all I can here around is coughing, sneezing and blowing noses. I want to stay untouched so I have to avoid the most of my family and friends. But I must be helpful, I am the one who visits others with the full bag of medicines, vitamins and other supplies. But I don't get to close to them, I deliver these bags from the distance. I don't want to get sick because I can't stand to be much time inside the house walls. I prefer to spend a lot of time outside. No matter what is the weather like.

Yesterday I went to my doctor's for some other reason, but there were many people with flu in the waiting room.

That would be an irony. To get a virus while waiting for a doctor. I left the waiting room and decided to wait few days. My case is not an emergency. All I see around are red noses and thermometers. I am not a bacteria - freaked guy, but these days I have to protect myself. I can say that some people depend on me!

If you ignore the flu, you can get really serious issues.

You can hear few bad news each year. Few deaths in a season. Some people take good care about themselves and they can get over the flu for just few days. But some people really don't care, they live their lives as they are the healthiest people ever. Each person infects another ten persons and this chain becomes longer and longer. But if you take some good care about yourself, you will feel much better in just few days and your body will be immune to this type of influenza for six months.

How to protect yourself?

- Avoid direct contact with sick people.

- Don't let anyone to cough or sneeze on you!

- Wash your hands as much times as it's possible.

- Do not be exposed to the cold without good jacket and a scarf.

- Consume lemon (vitamin C), domestic honey, hot tea and the orange juice!

The last hint should help your body to be stronger and resistant to seasonal flu! Stay well.
