Sometimes I'll look up old pics from when me and my partner started dating, and this is one of those classics. We were at Electric Daisy Carnival walking down Daisy Lane. 馃槝馃槝
On Thursday, you can clearly see when I took a short nap after the end of the school day. But my day was only getting started. We got to meet up with friends at Elsewhere's rooftop to catch a 2-hour set from Darby. The DJ absolutely slayed his set, but because of an impending storm, the blustery evening show was sparsely attended. Shame too, because Darby was tearing it up for a half-empty club.
As Brooklyn braced for the powerful nor'easter, I was ferociously packing up my basement room to prepare for possible flooding events at our new building. Better safe than sorry, as I shoved my stuff into a series of sealed plastic boxes. Wish me luck staying dry!
