Such a heartwarming post. I love the tradition of putting up the tree on the 24th. My father's family did and my mother's family is French and they did not. :) She won.

Being homeless is scary and debilitating and so many other things. I worked at a homeless shelter for a few years and I always thought I had heard all the stories, but, the fact is, every single one is as different as their approach to their situation.
