In Panel 3 we finally get another clue as to what happened to Margaret (in the B-timeline). She's been torn apart, and whatever did it could not have been human. That doesn't change the fact that Mookie

The plot thickens! William has come to pay Mookie a visit in prison, but is he really there? Panel 2 sure makes you wonder! Mookie is certainly talking to someone though, as important information is revealed

No you did not misread the title, we have skipped page 28 to go straight to 29. There's no nefarious motive at play, Theresa merely forgot to upload that page awhile back, and so we skipped it until we

This page attempts to pull off an effect that I'm not sure actually comes across well. In my mind, I wanted to further reinforce the concept that in our universe, only those who are infected with Rot can

Oh god, the horror! This is the worst possible thing Chuck could have discovered! His brother in arms and former lover dead in the dressing room of a known jazz singer! This is going to set him down a

Chuck thought this was going to be just another run of the mill boot-legging bust, and yet he can't escape the nagging feeling that Harvey's recent arrival in the city of Ithaca could be linked to the

Mookie and the girls (Margaret and Hazel) split up in Issue 2, but finally in Issue 5 we start to push the characters back together. From a writer's perspective, splitting the group up was really important

Happy New Years! Theresa and I are finalizing the colors on issue 5, Issue 4 is printed and en route to me, and I have completely re-written issue 8 AGAIN. Yes, those posts a month ago where I said I maybe

I really like how the 1920's general store is coming along! Theresa really put a lot of detail into all the bits and bobs, the staple goods. Like I've mentioned before, the shopkeeper is one of our Kickstarter

I gotta say, these pages are some of the strongest in the series, which is good because whenever you have a successful issue, the pressure is on to top that next time. Issue 4 went full cosmic psychedelic,

I'm particularly proud of the writing on these pages because I had to get into the mindset of Rupert and convey to the reader that his thought process is not linear like our own. When we get to the letters

Welcome back from the holidays! Our big reveal of our big bad villain gets spookier and spookier with every stage of illustration! My panel description for panel 1 was basically a page long itself. Sometimes

Rosie makes a hasty retreat via the dumbwaiter, close call eluding the Ithaca Police, but her troubles are only just beginning... Her meticulously laid plan has just been shattered by Harvey's death (and

Rosie is still tripping a bit at this point, but that will come to light once we get to the color phase. A fun little detail I added to the first panel for accuracy is that there is a 'ghost light' on

Check out another reference to the Tarot that I've included, I call it "The Wheel" - this is a magic device Rosie has woven in order to track down objects infused with magic. Just add the blood

Harvey no!! Something from the past has got him and now it's killing him in the present O_O and as if that isn't bad enough Officer Healy is about to raid The Band Wagon Speakeasy! AT least she finally

This scene was an exciting and easy one to write for me because there were so many converging problems coming for Rosie. As a writer, when you can, force your characters to react. Up the stakes, and then

So bad news, my most recent version of Issue 8 (version number 5 at this point) did not make the grade. It's unclear to me how much of that version of the comic will be useful to me. I have another idea

Has anyone here ever seen the anime series FLCL? It's kinda an insane comming of age story involving aliens. It utilizes varied and insane animation styles that change episode to episode. In the first

This is a mind-bendy page in which present moment Rosie saves past version Rosie from a Nageeshi by accidentally being a distraction as she struggles with coming down from her trip. And as if that isn't
