Hello, all! It's been awhile. It turns out that moving and unpacking is very stressful and consumes all the time in the world, haha. Don't worry, haven't forgotten about you guys, so here is another page!

I'm racing to get these pages off to the printer, wish me luck! Digital backers of the kickstarter can probably expect to start receiving the new issues fairly soon this month! I'm actually in some ways

I think the digital final version of Issue 5 will be ready sometime by the end of today, which means I hope to have the files off to printninja for printing within 48 hours so we can have these printed

In order to throw everyone a bone given my lack of posting lately, feast your eyes on the fully colorized cover of Issue 5! I've had to put working on the comic before posting about the comic lately as

This scene is a great example about how when you are stuck writing, causing big problems for your characters is a great way to get unstuck. I spent a year rewriting Issue 4, and then wrote the majority

Rosie struggles to keep her mind in the present as the local police begin to bust The Band Wagon speakeasy for slinging liquor during prohibition. Meanwhile, in the past, the Ithaca Police Department execute

The Nageeshi almost strikes again as Rosie attempts to focus her consciousness back into the present. Neither version of Rosie really knows how lucky they are. Though I suppose it is the single mindedness

This page gets more and more intricate as we see current moment Rosie distract the Nageeshi (unwittingly) such that her past self is able to escape unharmed - but Rosie has more pressing matters to deal

Splash page! This issue is titled after the major arcana tarot card, The Emperor. It stands in contrast to the previous issue titled, The Empress: This page will also get the crazy color treatment, so

The plot thickens! The book is communicating with Margaret and Hazel. We're adding more pictures into those papers in the last panel. It took me until the inks stage to notice that those were blank, but

The Four of Pentacles makes its comeback in panel 1 where we see Margaret unintentionally mirroring the painting behind her. We also show on her other shoulder, the two of cups a card indicating cooperation,

I was really pleased when this scene bubbled forth from the void in my mind, because it allowed us to spend more time in the living space of one of our main characters. Part of the problem with starting

This is a page I would love to see animated someday. There's just so much personality and motion at work here that you can totally see this as a funny sequence in some kind of comedy horror anime. This

We got a few splashes of red in there now! It's important in the inking process to keep blood separate from smoke and rot as we plan out the page. These pages in Hazel's studio are really fun because we

Maybe I should go on to make the 'noir' tag for the Hive blockchain, most of these pages would qualify. The only question is, would anyone on this site ever search for the noir tag, haha. Buy the comic

In this page, Mookie decides to finally flip on the Wharton's since they have been so keen on making him their fall guy. Only problem is that they have their bases extremely covered and Mookie's only contact

We made it to the inks! I love this part of the process. Everything snaps into a moody clarity, and I'm again reminded that someday Theresa and I ought to work on a manga together and just design for black

We're at the end of issue 5, which means tomorrow we start looking at the inks - always one of my favorite jumps in the comic book illustrating process. See you tomorrow! Buy the comic (with crypto) Buy

This scene was inspired in my mind by the memory pensive in the Harry Potter series. Except instead of beautiful silver liquid being used to relive memories, William is using gross Rot to create a viewing

I wonder what would have happened if Mookie had tried to shank William, can William even be harmed by conventional means? In big picture news, I sent another draft of Issue 8 to my editor, we're up to
