The horror!! Harvey is clearly having a bad trip, but given this is a 'trip' through space and time, is it possible this is more than just some unpleasant psychedelic visuals? Might this be a real place, and if so - where or when the hell is it?!
Once again, I'll draw your attention to the use of true black whenever we depict the supernatural effects of "Rot" or the black strings and goop that keep showing up here and there. Theresa's use of a dark burgundy as our normal 'black' lends itself to such a fun effect whenever the reader is made to realize that there are things darker than the darkest parts of the non-supernatural world.
Just like in Issue 3 where a true black aura surrounds Joseph even though he is already cloaked in the darkness of the night.
