Rupert goes into the cosmic wood-chipper! Meanwhile blood that gets soaked up by the Book of Seams in the past, appears to start dripping on Hazel in the present, and some kind of rune starts to glow in her throat - it's the logo for ITHAQA, a symbol that appears to be a Q, but is actually the cosmic rune for 'window'
This page is interesting to me right now, because basically half of issue 8 has to do with me figuring out how to explain what is going on with Hazel in 36 pages or less, haha. We see that she's dreaming of her death in issue 3, which readers of the comic will remember was somehow reversed by the Book of Seams.
I bit off more than I could chew with this comic if I'm being honest, thank god I have the best editor ever who can keep me on track, haha.
