Even in the less extreme panels, you can see that we're having fun drawing our characters "off-model" which is when you intentionally draw the human figure with proportions that do not reflect reality. It's very stylized, and for me the inspiration came from the Netflix anime "Devilman Crybaby" which equal parts horrified and enthralled me. I haven't watched it in years, and yet here it is affecting our creative choices. Art is funny that way!
