Canadian Cannabis Market Overview
The Tragically Hip have partnered with Newstrike as shareholders in the company. Newstrike starts trading on the TSX under the symbol HIP tomorrow, June 1, 2017. They state that it is not marketing based, but it will be, is my guess and all the power to them. Newstrike is located in Brantford, Ontario. The Tragically Hip if you are not familiar with them, are an exceptional band and I would recommend giving them a listen. Perhaps something from their early releases like New Orleans is Sinking or Highway Girl would be a good start.
