A little over three months of growth at this point and they are really getting into their prime now. Surprisingly they have bushed out more than grown vertically in the last few weeks. Maybe this is due to their “jungle sativa” traits in their genetics. But any ways they are forming many leaves. And looking like quite the nice bushes. The summer has been hot here, but I have been giving them water every few days when the rains do not come around for us.

Before I started taking pictures, I had to do some brush clearing. You can see them but the grasses around are getting quite big. So it was time to weed whack.
I just pulled a bunch of them a week ago and it barely looks like I made a dent. I also added mulch. I guess the grass is really taking off this time of year.
I have a Stihl weed whacker that has been a great addition to the tools on the farm. We use this thing all the time.
A little brush clearing later and now the three cannabis plants really pop out.
So far I have not topped them, and honestly the way they are growing I think I will leave them and see what they do.
These girls are now just as wide as tall.. got some shortstack plants.. lol!
With many more months of summer I wonder how big they will get.
So far the insects have mostly left them alone. Luckily June bugs have not gone after them, those are the primary pest going on right now.
The tops of the cannabis plants look quite good as well.
No signs of flowers yet, but that should start in another month or two.
Looking down on them, you can hardly see their stems.. So bushy!
Their green color tells me they are happy too.. No signs of stress.
I am hoping the are liking the summers here, they have Thai genetics in them. So humid summers should be something they are designed for.
Such great plants, no issues besides the one transplant that died.
Looking like I need to trim back the bottoms of them. You cannot even see their trunks right now with so many leaves.
I started another seedling, and got it to the point roots were starting to grow out of the pot. I planted it and something ate it or pulled it up.. It went completely missing! So I think a rabbit or small animal ate it up whole.
I have another one started so hopefully soon I will have a replacement to put in the ground again. As of right now its just a little seedling and has not shown any signs of roots on the bottom of the plantable pot. So any day now I should see it and will try again. Maybe I should set up a trailcam by the plants to see what eats it if it happens again.
