I love Summer so much the more as it is time to make food outside. I feel something magical about it. I always did. I remember when I was a kid, we had a weekend house with a garden, where we used to cook. It's just a great feeling that you are not stuck in a hot kitchen.
BBQ The Way We Do It
It is so much fun. In Hungary we don't have a BBQ set. Each time we create it from scratch. It takes a lot of preparation. I like to get the stick myself. I make it from a piece of wood. Then make the fire and let it burn down a bit as we don't need big flames. While the fire is burning we prepare the ingredients.
Bacon, sausages, onion, pepper, tomato, potato, bread and basically you can have anything you like.
When all done we put them on sticks, sit around the fire and let the fun begin. Usually we do it in the evening. That's what I like about it.
When it starts dripping let it drip onto the bread.
When you ready all the good stuff then placed onto the bread as well. The final result looks something like this.
