A quick look behind the scenes at how Page 1 of EMPTY CODE came together, from initial sketch to final inks and shading.
Honestly, I was really doubting myself while making this! I didn't know how to pull off some of the scenes, and I had to keep imagining the dark, enclosed room in my head over and over to get it right. I was constantly switching brushes, tweaking colors, and figuring out color blending on the fly. But starting with that glowing blood droplet gave me the confidence that the vision would come together in the end. Really glad with how the atmosphere turned out!
