Greetings Hivers of this great community and beyond!
Sorry for the silence over the past few days! Between battling severe sleepiness during my usual posting hours and getting stuck trying to refine this so I didn't drop a half-baked post, time got away from me. On top of that, our family just welcomed a new baby (my cousin's new child!), so between the excitement and getting ready for the family, things have been wonderfully chaotic.
I'm back and excited to finally share the first 4 pages of my new comic series, EMPTY CODE.
Detective John "Mickey" Michael wakes up trapped in a cold concrete cell. Chained, bruised, and starving. But this isn't normal hunger—something inside him is starting to shift.
"Hunger. Pain. Fear. That's all I am now. That's all I have left."
It's been three days since the cab. Three days since he last saw his wife. What actually happened to Mickey, and what is waking up inside him?
