Today I am releasing the looped version of Meet the Rebels!

🎶 Behind the Loop

There is not much to tell you from a technical standpoint. As I mentioned before, looping your track and ensuring decent transitions between loops is quite easy with CapCut.

This time, however, I was doubting whether I should even release the 1-hour version of Meet the Rebels, since the original song still only has 2 views on YouTube. However, my Google AI urged me to release it anyway because a 1-hour loop is a much more fitting format for ambient music and has the potential to generate a lot of watch time. My other loop—Enemy Encounter—already has over 6 hours of watch time and is one of my strongest videos in that regard.

🎨 The Cover Art

Since the clear bottleneck seems to be my Click-Through Rate (CTR), I decided to change the art style of the cover. While I love the 90s comic style, people do not seem to expect ambient music behind that kind of thumbnail.

Going back to using one of the awesome Mureka images and blending my own face over it seemed to work well for the non-looped version of Enemy Encounter, so I am returning to that concept. How do you like me rocking that acoustic guitar in the warzone?

🎶 Hinter dem Loop

Aus technischer Sicht gibt es gar nicht so viel zu erzählen. Wie ich schon mal erwähnt habe, ist das Loopen eines Tracks und das Erstellen von ordentlichen Übergängen mit CapCut ziemlich einfach.

Dieses Zeug hatte ich allerdings meine Zweifel, ob ich die 1-Stunden-Version von Meet the Rebels überhaupt bringen soll, da der originale Song auf YouTube gerade mal 2 Aufrufe hat. Meine Google-KI hat mich jedoch gedrängt, es trotzdem durchzuziehen. Ein 1-Stunden-Loop ist einfach das viel passendere Format für Ambient-Musik und hat das Potenzial, ordentlich Watchtime zu generieren. Mein anderer Loop—Enemy Encounter—steht tatsächlich schon bei über 6 Stunden Watchtime und ist in dieser Hinsicht eines meiner stärksten Videos.

🎨 Das Cover-Artwork

Da das Nadelöhr eindeutig die Klickrate (CTR) zu sein scheint, habe ich mich entschieden, den Grafikstil des Covers zu ändern. Ich liebe zwar den 90er-Jahre-Comic-Stil, aber die Leute erwarten hinter so einem Thumbnail scheinbar keine Ambient-Musik.

Bei der Non-Loop-Version von Enemy Encounter hat es super funktioniert, eines der genialen Mureka Bilder zu nehmen und mein eigenes Gesicht darüberzubasteln. Deshalb kehre ich zu diesem Konzept zurück. Gefällt es euch, wie ich die Akustikgitarre im Kriegsgebiet rocke?
