just reading this...
and I know the pain of this. of finding the foods that work best - but also finding that they aren't the ones that you've loved all your life
and its just so damn painful . I think we dont realize how much food is a special thing for us!!! you know? until it gets taken away
and the loss of that - you mentioned the stages of grief - i KNOW that is not an exaggeration. people might think you're being funny there - but nope. it is really a loss that we have to wrap our minds around and go through ALL those stages til we finally accept.
(and sometimes we have to go through it multiple times)
i've gotten to accept the levels of things i am now resigned to eat... only to have another category taken away -and you woudln't believe the tears. over food??? yeah cuz.... its' a comfort. and it's a bit of "home" and cuddles when you feel bad.
and now... it's gone.
and i'm just so sorry. cuz i know the pain of this my friend.
but at the same time - the fact that tehre are foods that can help??? i'm just so thankful for that too. and that you found some that are actually GOOD!!! that is such a blessing in disguise. and i hope that you KEEP finding mre that help you on this journey.
I don't have the same issues - so... i dont 'have any recipes that I can send right now! hehehe but... believe me - i'll be on thel ookout and i'll even taste test some for you so that I can send some that might be good options for you!
i love you so much, and i'm there with you. i hope you feel me. i love you snook!
