Just1Swig spent the day with a brand new beekeeper
Howie kept bees for years making him the bee expert that all new hobbiests turn to with questions. In this case the new bee man is a good friend of ours, and he called Howie in to help 'split' a hive with a huge population into two hives before it swarmed on him.
I am behind the camera as usual, and it's almost too bad you can't see me because I'm not wearing any protective gear- how brave the once phobic of bees has become! In the words of 
*Note that Howie is not wearing any gloves as he plunges his hands into masses of bees- there's a reason for this beyond looking tough as nails ;-)
