As a child, she had many aspirations, her earliest one being wanting to be a baker. This evolved to many different things as she grew up- be a dentist, an engineer, a writer, a flight attendant even. She wanted the many aspects of her... shine. She envisioned herself on many different roles, each one as enticing as the other, the thought of each one brings equal happiness.
As much as she wanted to do everything, she knows it simply can't be done. She had to choose. And her choice would eventually define how she would develop herself, what things she needs to focus on, what skills she needs to acquire. Her choice would determine how she spends her time, who she spends it with. Her choice would play the most important factor on how she defines herself.
It wasn't a walk in the park. Although she did all she can, the world doesn't simply hand out things at times. There were many heartbreaks and many tears. There were many times she went astray, deviated from the path she was meant to take.
There were many failures, but she kept on trying, she kept on pushing to attain her vision.
Sometimes she questions why certain things are happening, why her life is not running as it should. She thinks why can't her life be full of luck.
Though it is true that luck plays a part in a person's success, she realized it isn't really the main factor.
She understands that she steers her life to the direction it is taking, each event is a result of the decisions she make, of the actions she take.
And so her actions must be decisive and purposeful.
She acts, and think, with a purpose.
All she wanted was to be happy. And she is.
