Hello my incredible Steemians!
After a long, long week I finally have more than 1 hour for Steemit and I feel so inspired.
Before I discovered Steemit, I had accounts on many different social media as Instagram and Facebook. I also had a personal blog in croatian language. So, I am not new into blogging. But posting on Steemit is a whole new level. Among many other things, Steemit it special because is appreciates originality, creativity and innovation.
Being authentic is the best recipe for making friends and discover the real joy of this platform.
Nowadays being authentic is not as easy as it was before... so I decided to write my tips how to be your best selves here on Steemit.
1. WE ARE ALL CALLED TO BE UNIQUE
Yes, uniqueness is not just an empty word which we can apply to successful Steemians. Yes, if they are successful here, I suppose they are actually unique... But we are all invited to show our real faces. To write the things we feel, what we think about. We are all born unique, we have unique thoughts and feelings inside us. And all we need is to express them to show all our inner fortune.
2. STEEMIT IS NOT INSTAGRAM
In my experience, there is a simple way to get likes on Instagram - pretty face, expensive clothes, some celebrity friend. And a HQ camera, of course. And money to pay your promotion.
Steemit is not like it. Having a pretty face will not help if you don't show your ability to write a good text, if you don't learn basic techy rules. Expensive clothes means nothing. Moreover, the idea of celebrity is quite different here. It doesn't work like on the other social media. For example, my favourite ''celebrity'' is 
3. YOU DON'T NEED CONFORM
For example, today I saw that most popular topics are about Donald Trump. Will I write about him to, in order to be top rated? No. The topic doesn't inspire me. And everybody will feel I am dishonest. So, write about things you like and live. Everybody feels the vibe so give up trying to be like everyone else. You don't need trying to conform other people. Just follow your own intuition.
4. BELIEVE IN THE REAL BEAUTY OF YOUR IDEAS
In order to be unique, you must dare to be unique. Show our real soul, face is a challenge. It's not just a simple step. It's a mission and we must believe the mission has sense. That we have so much beauty to show and teach. Find your own beauty, believe it and reveal it. Steemians will recognize and appreciate your effort.
