One of the most important films in history of Disney was Tron, 1982 sci-fi adventure about computer programmer Kevin Flynn, played by Jeff Bridges, who gets transported into virtual world, these days best known for pioneering work on computer animation. Quarter of century later, Disney made a sequel in which protagonist, played by Garrett Hedlund, is Flynn's son Sam. The plot shows his attempts to solve decades-old mystery of father disappearance; during those efforts he ends in the virtual world where he would discover not only his father but his father's evil alter ego. Although computer effects in 2010 didn't look as impressive as in 1982, Tron: Legacy featured few interesting scenes. Director Joseph Kosinski, on the other hand, is not helped by script which is both weak and overcomplicated. Jeff Bridges, on the other hand, doesn't seem to know whether he is playing Kevin or Dude from Big Lebowski. Michael Sheen in the role of androgynous virtual night club manager makes Tron: Legacy is watchable, but barely.
