The cock crowed and his alarm rang. It was another Tuesday morning, the sun was bright and beautiful like every other day but Max had barely gotten any sleep, he was awake pondering how he got so confused, lost and broken hearted. Max was a very emotional child while growing up, not spending time with his biological mother must have made him this way. The innocent looking bad boy who had a tremendous love for music and his earphones, only some months ago would
wake up with a smile brighter than the sun and with the look of hope on his face that nothing could go wrong, his attitude could be compared to that of a peacock, never caring about how badly he was treated at home.
'Soon I will be out of this house and into her warm caring arms surely I would lay.. '.
This thought alone motivated him to keep moving on. Lost in the cloud of his thoughts on how he got so confused, lost and so broken he didn't notice how hard his Aunty was working to get breakfast ready.
'I have to fry this, I have to stew that. '
Seeing how absent minded Max was, she couldn't help but ask what troubled his mind. knowing fully that he was somewhat of a glutton and never joked with his food. That was honestly not his priority right now. Looking down, ' I'm fine, its just the normal school stress. ' he replied then with a fake smile, he walked away to his room to get ready for school.
It's been a month since he last saw her or had a real conversation with her . He didn't know why she was acting strange, cold, uncaring and distant. A friend of his once told him that distance is always accompanied with fear, allegations, insecurity and distrust.
Max was the optimistic type, a lover boy who believed love was enough to see them through. She was right when she told him;
'I'm not the type of girl you would want' but at first glance Max had fallen for Trisa and was ready to be any type of guy to make her happy. So many trials, so many tribulations and a beautiful thing came to an end or so he thought.
'Oh well, there is beauty in complications.'
He was finally ready for school, reminding himself to make a detour to see a lecturer at her campus. Max had promised himself that he wasn't going to search for Trisa but fate had other plans.
He got to the campus and while trying to locate the office of the lecturer, to his surprise, he saw Trisa with no make up on but looking beautiful as always. Max's heart seemed to skip a beat. The harder he tried not to look and be brave, the harder it got. For one last glance, he turned to look, she was running towards him. Max wanted to run too but felt it would be awkward and dramatic. He also wanted to walk away but that was impossible. Max thought that after they hugged,
it would be happily ever after. Max had never been more wrong in his life...
