This is my weekend "long" run. I initially wanted to do a 33k, in preparation for my 47th anniversary 47km race (it's a thing I do for about 4 years now: every year, for my birthday, I run my age in km). But then I saw I got a really good pace versus heart rate balance and decided to stop at km 21, making it just a half-marathon.

The key metrics here are: average heart rate: 141 bpm (which is under my lactate threshold, meaning I ran from fat) and 7 minutes per km, which is a very decent speed for running under the lactate threshold.

All in all, I got lucky this weekend: weather was gorgeous, temperature just how it had to be and I also was fortunate enough to make my cooldown lap with raluca@raluca, who showed me some of the most beautiful colors of the park in this autumn. Rumor has it she is going to post those on here timeline too.

So, how / where / how much did you run this weekend?
