Hello my fellow needle workers, I’m sore you’re having a wonderful time today. I hope you had a wonderful day too. Today I’ll be sharing this bikini that I made for a client. (Most things I make are always for clients buh I plan to change that this year).

A first time client texted me and said she wanted to get a bikini for a girls trip they’ve been planning for a while now. As usual I asked if she had a sample and luckily she did.

We went into taking about the colors she’ll like to switch the original ones with, the size she’ll like and also when she wanted it delivered( I didn’t have a problem with the things she wanted or even when she wanted it delivered because she picked a good date for pickup and I was relieved because I had a lot of jobs then)

She made payment in the evening and I got to work after the supplies came in from the market (yes this time I avoided the market like my life depended on it ). Bear in mind that this is my first time making this particular design and honestly I couldn’t find a tutorial for it online. I had an event a day before the delivery so I was preparing for it. I only started making these the morning of the event because I finally had time.

I started by making a magic circle with sea green yeye yarn . I made four of those (it was a bikini so two for the bra and two for the bikini itself, I couldn’t really get pictures of the bra since the bra was made at home and the mannequin was not close by). Then the next row had granny stitches(pink) .

Trust me I didn’t have the perfect idea of how I was going to make these but I just went with the flow (hahaha). I made v-stitches for the next row because (I mean that’s what the inspo image looked like to me) was a bit tricky since I haven’t made v-stitches since the pink dress I made, I eventually got the hang of it and made it for the different patches.

Next row was still v-stitches and then I finished it up with shell stitches. Was so happy when it came out just the way I wanted it. This design was originally made by WILDXDANDI most crocheters know her.

When I finished the patches I had to put two together so I could make the bikini and I attached two ropes to each side to make it balance properly. I only attached one rope each for the bra top and one more that joined them together. I burnt off the edges, trimmed some and packed it for delivery.

My client sent a lot of reviews that she loved her fit so much and that she’s happy I delivered what she wanted.
