Sex education for children should start as soon as they are adolescents and are entering puberty. This is because at this stage they are naive and at the same time that's  their formation  stage and whatever there and then can make or mar their sexual lives.

And the best way to properly give your kids sexual education is not to lie to them and tell them the whole truth.  Tell them the temporary benefit they might derive from certain engagements and the long lasting negative effects.  Tell them the consequences of their actions and what they would probably face if they engage in premarital affairs.

Tell them your personal experiences so they can learn from your mistakes.  Do not try to shield them from the truth because eventually they would find out it was all a lie and would then waltz into the lion's  den.

This world is in the internet age,  what you fail  to teach your kids or the lie you told them would eventually be exposed by their  friends and the internet snd you'll  lose their Trust.
