Looking at the way teens of nowadays lavish money, I begin to wonder if they ever sit to plan for the future. I would be a sad thing reminiscing how you once had a so much money while you were young but not anymore.
Financial education is a priority we should inculcate into our children while they are still very young. If our children aren't financially educated, they will suffer for it.

If a child has a strong financial education from home, they can do what they love and still do well financially. They can party, buy accessories, gadgets etc and still remain financially ok if they plan well.
These plans on how to manage money can be inculcated into them by simply starting to teach them the habit of savings in a piggy bank. After which you introduce investing and others as they grow older.
It is a joy to see our children succeed in life most especially financially. But it is our responsibility as parents to set them on the right path by educating them financially. This is not a thing that can be learned at school, it can only be learnt at home.
