Speak no words I shall not listen
waves blow from the East
break and crack and fall and crumble
the soil soaked by the sea
speak to me with no words spoken
and prove yourself to me

we do not see the end
I’ll make no effort waste no time
if I notice I’ll take heed
of your actions and not your words
you will not make me bleed
For bleeding I have done before
no bliss could I confide
and promised myself to build a wall
impenetrable from outside

so speak my so-called friend

this may not mean the end
But inside only I reside
my problems consume me
while those outside just wait and hide
my pride will ever be
Now my friend we’ve reached the end
premature as it may seem
I’ll take no blame I feel no shame
I’ll find another dream
Speak to me with no words spoken
save your poison breath
speak to me with no words spoken
lack of action causes death
Speak no words just let it be
and you old friend will see
as hard as it is to say it
you mean nothing to me
