Generally life’s game offers a continuously different range of choices and opportunities. Our heredity and experience dictate how we recognize and respond to our individual choices. What we experience is out of our control although it is predictable. How we respond or play our hand is under our individual control.
Occasionally we find a pattern that gives winning results. Repeating these styles of play is natural and these experiences form the basics of learning. However our individual needs for stability, or variety allows us to mix things up. For example I might choose my ‘regular’ breakfast of a muffin with hot tea, or I might vary my pattern and choose bacon with eggs. These kinds of choices present themselves constantly.
Our interaction with others forms our reputation. We may seem reliable and predictable or spontaneous and exciting. We tend to form associations based on our preferences. Birds of a feather flock together.
In the Steemit community these trends also exist. We each eventually discover others we enjoy thus forming virtual friendships. One persons desirne for well organized in-deapth content is contrasted by another persons desire for a simple meme.
Variety however is not totally compatible with consistency. Rock musicians may lose followers if they stray into a pattern of mellow ballads. Those who enjoy melody and harmony may quickly reject jazzy noise with surprising sounds.
My point is find a blend of content creation and establish your brand. This may require years of effort.
