In the game of life, there is no break in the action when time is half expired. Neither are there any time-outs. Life and time march on. Also, there is no score. We end with what we begin with... not much.
What we are able to do between the dash is to improve the potential of our children (or others). Giving a boost to others is a daily opportunity. It is my favorite part of the Steemit game.
For a few minutes each day, I focus on what I can give to others. I might give truth, beauty, music, art or an upvote. Whatever I do, it is for others. My personal rewards are there, but mostly unimportant.
There may be an average lifespan with Steemit, but there is no halftime in sight. Soon many of you will meet up for Steem-Fest 3. I believe the game is just beginning. There is no ‘halftime’ in sight.
There can be goals!
How many consecutive days can you post? How many posts will it take for you to win?
Whatever your goal, it is the time to double it. Try to imagine where we will be in 2020. This is only 15 months away.
