Hi there. The full Team Rocket Pocket set is out now. The B4a set has 110 cards with 72 main set cards and 38 secret rares.
Since there are so many cards, I feature some here.
The Houndour is a decent early game attacker while the Team Rocket Houndoom inflicts Poison and Burn on top of the 20 damage.
This whole Delphox line is interesting. You do not need Fire Energy to deal the Fire attacks here. You could fit the whole evolution line in non Fire decks.
Team Rocket's Voltorb is okay as an early game attacker.
The TR's Electrode is kind of interesting. For one Lightning Energy the Random Spark attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokemon. Destiny Burst activates when this TR's Electrode is in the Active Spot and is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's Pokemon attack.
Team Rocket's Slowpoke & Slowking ex are interesting. The Slowpoke does not deal damage but Scavenge lets you put a random Item card from your discard pile into your hand.
The TR's Slowking ex is a Stage 1 Pokemon ex with 130 HP, a 3 retreat cost and Dark weakness. Evil Inspiration lets you draw 1 card from your deck if TR's Slowking ex is in the Active Spot.
Hand Kinesis requires 1 Psychic and 1 Colourless Energy for the attack. This attack does 20 damage for each card in your hand.
It is not common to see Basic Pokemon with 1 Energy attacks that do 20 damage or 30 damage. Team Rocket's Mr. Mime has this Slap Push attack for 1 Psychic Energy to deal 40 damage. This attack is pretty good in the early game.
Gimmighoul is an okay early game attacker while Gholdengo allows you to re-do coin flips on Trainer cards once during your turn.
Koffing and Weezing are iconic evil Pokemon from Team Rocket in the gen 1 Pokemon games and anime.
Team Rocket's Koffing is okay while Team Rocket's Weezing ex is a beatstick. The ability Boiler Smog can only be used once upon evolution from Hand. It makes the opponent's Active Pokemon Burned and Poisoned.
This Rattata is okay while Team Rocket's Raticate ex is kind of crazy. The Boost Dash attack requires 2 Energy to deal 70 damage. Thieving Incisors activates upon evolving the Team Rocket's Rattata to the TR Raticate once during your turn. This ability allows you to move a random Energy from your opponent's Active Pokemon to this Team Rocket's Raticate ex. You pretty much steal one random Energy. Team Rocket style.
The Meowth is an okay but fragile attacker in the early game.
Team Rocket's Persian is good when the opponent has a large Bench. Maximum 130 damage if the opponent has 3 Benched Pokemon.
Happiny is a weak 30 HP Basic Pokemon with no weakness and no retreat cost. The Chubby Cheer free attack deals 10 damage and it allows your Pokemon attacks deal 20 more damage during your next turn to your opponent's Active Pokemon.
Every set has their own art cards. Here are some of them.
Here are some special illustration rare cards in the set.
Some cards from previous sets are chosen as shiny cards in this set.
The only gold cards in this set are Gholdengo and Team Rocket's Goo-zooka.
Thank you for reading.
