Hi there. In this Pokemon TCG Pocket post, I present an alternative deck in the game. It uses Weezing and Pidgeot ex. This is something I came up with as I annoyed with Druddigon walls that setup Stage 2 Pokemon behind it. For a short period of time I experimented with this deck.
Pidgeot ex
Pidgeot ex is splashable in the sense that it takes any Energy type for its 3 Colourless attack. The attack has 80 base damage and does 20 more damage for each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. The maximum damage you can do is 140 (80 + 20 x 3).
The HP from Pidgeot ex is quite large at 170 HP. Not many Pokemon can on hit knockout this Pidgeot ex. The popular Pokemon ex in the metagame are Pikachu ex, Mewtwo ex, Celebi ex and Gyrarados ex. (There may be more that I missed) Only Celebi ex out of the four can potentially knockout the Pidgeot ex (if they have lots of energy and hits many heads).
Weezing
It is important that you use this Weezing with the Gas Leak ability and the one Dark Energy attack. As Pidgeot ex requires three Energy for its attack, using the one Energy attack is ideal in the early game. Weezing as an early attacker puts early game pressure on the opponent. You can also use Poison from Gas Leak which is good against Druddigon stall walls.
As Weezing is a Dark type, it has a type advantage against Psychic decks that have Mew ex and Mewtwo ex. Setup Pidgeot ex at the back as you attack with Weezing.
Here is a sample decklist that uses Weezing and Pidgeot ex. Modifications of this deck would change a few cards.

The ideal setup is to have Weezing as your attacker in the early game. Weezing can poison the opponent's Active Pokemon and do 30 damage per turn with its Tackle attack. In the back you setup Pidgeys and get Pidgeot ex as quickly as you can. If the opponent is trying to stall and setup a Gardevoir or a Stage 2 Pokemon then you do the same with your Pidgeot ex.
Pidgeot ex would be used as a late game attacker. If the board state is right then Pidgeot's attack can one hit the opponent's Pokemon. If the opponent runs bulky Pokemon with more than 120 HP then it is likely that you need to two hit with Pidgeot ex.
I have maybe played 15 to 20 games with this deck. If you play this deck against slower decks then you do have a good chance of winning. If you don't get Weezing out early then this deck is vulnerable to faster decks.
This deck in my opinion is a decent rogue deck that can compete against Pikachu ex decks, Celebi ex decks, Mewtwo ex decks and Druddigon stalls with Stage 2 Pokemon.
