First, WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?
LEADERSHIP is the capacity to influence others through INSPIRATION, motivated by a PASSION, generated by a VISION, produced by a CONVICTION and ignited by a PURPOSE.
LEADERSHIP is not
•Title or position
•Control (i.e the ability to control someone or a group of people)
•Responsibilty
Now back to the subject matter
LEADERS ARE BORN AND ALSO MADE. HOW?
LEADERS are born in the sense that one can actually possess the qualities of a leader.
He/she might not really lead anything but people will follow and listen to him like he's a leader. Which is born out of his/her passion.
LEADERS are made through nurturing and persistent followership. Which is born out of a purpose.
But it also requires discipline and commitment before its entitled to the appellation.
N/B EVERYBODY is a leader within the context of their potential and purpose.
And also EVERYBODY is not a leader in everything...
