My favorite football club is CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB (CFC), a professional football club in London, England. Popularly known as THE BLUES and THE PENSIONERS for those who knows better.
CFC competes in the Premier League and was founded 10 March 1905.
The Chelsea's home ground is known as STAMFORD BRIDGE with a capacity of 41,631. Their official uniform is ROYAL BLUE SHIRTS AND SHORTS WITH WHITE SOCKS.
Chelsea football club is currently chairmaned by BRUCE BUCK, managed by MAURIZIO SARRI and captained by CÉSAR AZPILICUETA
It is currently owned by a Russian, Israeli.
ROMAN ARAKADYEVICH ABRAMOVICH.
A businessman, entrepreneur and a politician. He's also the owner of EVRAZ and MILLHOUSE CAPITAL and also a major shareholder of NOSRIILSK NICKEL.
I came to know about CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB when I was in secondary school, Junior Secondary School (JSS2) precisely. I was introduced by my friend and also a classmate (BURABARI PETER GODSWILL). He created an email address for me and registered me as a full Chelsea fan.
I was very happy to become a registered fan even when I knew nothing about the club.
My love for the club developed when I discovered their official home uniform is BLUE AND WHITE which happens to be one of my favourite colours. Maybe because it was the only club I first came to know as of then.
Ever since then I've being in love with THE BLUES, even when I try to fan another club all efforts proves abortive.
CFC may not be the biggest, richest or undefeated club in Europe or the world at large but it suits my liking and worthy of my support.
