The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Keep Your Distance - Units with melee attacks may not be used
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Keep Your Distance, 'Tis But Scratches & Ferocity
- Mana Cap - 36
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Bortus
- With the ruleset that I got my best bet was that my enemy was going to play magic based team as only ranged, magic was allowed
- In my case as earth wasn't active I settled for water and luckily I had -1 magic damage summoner
1st Position: Venari Marksrat
- Venari Marksrat was my first monster
- Main reason for Venari Marksrat was just to buff my second monster
- Martyr - When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats
2nd Position: Djinn Oshannus
- Djinn Oshannus was my main tank for this battle
- I was hoping my enemy would play magic team and for that reason Djinn Oshannus and his Void was super needed
- Void - Reduced damage from Magic attacks by 50%
3rd Position: Nerissa Tridawn
- Another high damage and hp magic monster
- hopefully my Djinn Oshannus wouldn't die but if he does Nerissa Tridawn is next to tank
4th Position: Merdaali Guardian
- Next up in line is my first healer for this team
- Even tho you don't get a lot of stats for 3 mana you do get the Tank Heal ability which I really like
- Tank Heal - Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round
5th Position: Crustacean King
- And Crustacean King was my second healer
- And with both of my healers I was hoping I would be able to outheal my enemies damage
- Tank Heal - Restores a third of max health to the Unit in the first position each round
6th Position: Axemaster
- Axemaster was my backline tank and also high damage dealer for this battle
- I like Axemaster here because of her high damage output and high speed
- Double Strike - This unit attacks twice each round
Starting board
- Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would lose just because how high the card level diff already is
- I managed to pick extremely good summoner but sadly my enemy still played one ranged unit which was going to deal a lot of damage
- But anything could still happen so lets start the battle and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st & 2nd Round
- After first two rounds my theory was correct his team was just so much strong than mine
- My enemy had managed to take down almost both of my high hp monsters and after they were down my rest of the team had no chance to win
3rd Round
- After 3rd Round my board was totally empty I only had one monster with 1 hp left
- I wasn't even close to winning this battle but what can you do with level diff like that
- Now I just needed to wait for my loser screen in the next round
4th Round
- It took my enemy 1 turn to kill my last standing monster
- After my Axemaster had fallen I took the L

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- The battle came down to huge level diff on cards in my opinion but thats splinterlands for you some time no worries
- If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
