I feel like the price of HIVE has been slowly creeping upward lately. It has gone up by more than 10% over the past week. Do you think it will keep going up like this?
Looking at the chart again, it briefly reached $0.06. HIVE has been falling for more than a year now, so I'd really like to see it finally start heading upward...
While we're at it, let's take a look at DEC too.
This one is also slowly climbing. I wonder if it can continue rising steadily like this?
When comparing HIVE and DEC, it looks like HIVE suddenly started rising around September 14th. Did something happen around then?
And what about Bitcoin?
Looking at the short-term trend, Bitcoin is actually going down. Well, after that big jump on August 20th, it's been moving mostly sideways, so I guess that's just how it is.
Now, if we overlay all of these price movements using September 1st as the baseline...
As expected, HIVE is the only one that has suddenly shot up. What is going on here? If it's not the result of Bitcoin's rise, then what is causing HIVE to go up?
I have absolutely no idea what the cause is. I found several articles mentioning the rise in HIVE, but I couldn't find any concrete explanation for why it happened.
However, DEC and SPS have also been gradually rising, so if HIVE, DEC, and SPS continue to rise like this, perhaps the number of Splinterlands players could increase as well.
If HIVE continues to rise, wouldn't DEC be pulled upward along with it? If that happens, will card prices go up or down?
What will actually happen to card prices? A new Pack will probably be released around January next year, and when that happens, Rebellion cards will rotate out of Modern. If that happens, demand should decrease, and I think card prices will fall.
It depends on what cards are included in the new Pack, but if it contains some really good cards, I think the prices of Conclave Arcana cards could fall as well. The cards I'm particularly concerned about are Summoners.
The biggest problem when Rebellion rotates out of Modern will be Summoners. Rebellion has multi-element Summoners, which allowed us to reduce the number of Summoners we needed. I only own three types myself.
But if these can no longer be used, we'll need to have Summoners for each element from Conclave Arcana or the new Pack...
How much is that going to cost?
Let's say Rare Summoners are added. We'd need four Gold Foil copies for each element. If we calculate using 14,000 DEC per card, that's 56,000 DEC for just one element... And if we need five types, that's 280,000 DEC!
280,000 DEC for just five types, even without Dragon!? Are you kidding me!? 😭
Well, they'll probably be even more expensive. I don't think we'll be able to put together a full set for 280,000 DEC, so some of the accounts I'm currently operating may end up being used exclusively for Frontier Mode, except for one of my main accounts...
Anyway, getting back to the main topic.
I think card prices will gradually decline from here. In USD terms, they probably won't change that much, but I think their prices will fall when measured in DEC.
Then, once information about the new Pack starts coming out, I expect Rebellion prices to drop sharply, with Conclave prices being dragged down along with them. That's probably how things will play out. So, based on that prediction, it seems better not to buy too many cards right now and wait until prices come down.
Or maybe I should just buy a huge amount of the new Pack.
Whatever the contents turn out to be, there should be demand for the new Pack. On top of that, people will need to buy a lot of Packs to obtain cards through Conflicts...
It looks like we're going to need a huge amount of DEC.
If the price of DEC goes up, card prices will look cheaper when measured in DEC, but since there won't be any new Pack cards available on the market yet, they'll probably be sold at high prices.
Hmm... Even if I predict that the price of DEC will continue rising toward the end of the year, it might still be a good idea to collect Conclave cards. Of course, not just any cards. I'm talking about cards that will be in short supply once Rebellion rotates out of Modern, or cards that are highly powerful and popular.
And then, when the new Pack is released, I'll buy a large number of new Pack cards and adjust my collection so that I can compete in the new Modern environment.
I'm probably going to need a ridiculous amount of DEC.
There's absolutely no way my current funds will be enough. I might have to start selling off my cards one after another from now on... 😱

HIVEの価格がじわじわと上がってきている気がします。この1週間で10%以上も上がっていますよ。このまま上がっていくんでしょうか？

Bitcoin は短期で見るとむしろ下がってますね。ま、8月20日にドーンと上がった後は横ばいなのでまぁ、そんなもんでしょう。
で、これらの価格推移を9月1日を基準として全部重ね合わせてみると。
やっぱり HIVE だけ急に上がってますね。なんだこれは？Bitcoin 上げの影響でもないとすれば HIVE の上げは何の影響なんでしょうね？
原因がさっぱりわからない。あちこち覗いてみれば HIVE が上がった事に触れている記事はありましたが具体的な原因についてはわかりませんでした。
しかし、このまま DEC も SPS もじわじわと上がり続けているのでこのまま HIVE, DEC, SPS が上がっていけば Splinterlands のプレイヤーが増えたりするかもしれないですね。
もしも HIVE がこのまま上がっていくのであれば DEC もつられて上がっていくんじゃないでしょうか？そうなると、カードの価格は上がる？下がる？
実際、カード価格はどうなるんでしょうね？来年の1月には新Packが発売されるでしょうし、そうなると Rebellion のカードはモダン落ちします。そうなると需要は減ってカードの価格は下がると思います。
新Packにどんなカードが含まれているかによるんですが、 優秀なカードが含まれているのであれば Conclave Arcana のカード価格も下がると思います。特に私が気になるのはサモナーですね。
Rebellion がモダン落ちして一番困るのはサモナーです。Rebellion にはマルチエレメントのサモナーがあるため種類を減らすことが出来たんですよね。私も3種類しかもっていません。
しかし、これが使えなくなるとなれば Conclave か新Pack で追加されるサモナーで各エレメントのサモナーを揃える必要があり...
いくらかかるんでしょうね。仮にレアでサモナーが追加された場合、各エレメントに Gold Foil で4枚必要です。1枚 14,000 DEC で計算すると、56,000 DECもかかるんですよね... 5種類そろえれば 280,000 DEC ですよ！？
ドラゴンを抜いて5種類でも28万！？馬鹿じゃないの！？😭
まぁ、おそらくもっと高くなるでしょうね。28万では揃わないと思われますので、今運用しているアカウントもメインの1つ以外はフロンティアモード用になるかもしれないですね...
話を戻します。
カード価格は今からじわじわと下がると思っています。ドル建てだとあまり変わらず、DEC建てでは下がるって感じになると思うんですよね。
で、新Packの情報が出たくらいで Rebellion の価格が一気に下がって、つられて Conclave の価格も下がる。多分そんな感じになると思います。それを予測して今はカードの購入はあまりしないで下がってから買うのがよさそう。
もしくは新Packを一気に買うかだね。どんな内容になるとしても新Packは需要があるはず。さらに、Conflicts でカードを手に入れるためにも沢山購入されるわけで...
やっぱりかなりの DEC が必要そうですね。DEC 価格が上がればDEC建てのカード価格は下がって見えるけど、新Packはマーケットにカードが無いわけだから高い値段で売られるだろうし。
うん、これから年末までにDEC価格が上がっていくと予測した場合でも Conclave のカードは集めておくほうが良いかもしれない。もちろん、どんなカードでもいいわけではなく、 Rebellion がモダン落ちしたときに不足するカードや高性能で人気が高いカードであれば。ですけどね。
そして、新Packが出たタイミングで新Packのカードを大量購入して新モダン環境で戦えるように調整する。
多分、めちゃくちゃ DEC が必要になると思われますね。絶対、手持ちの資金では足りない。今からカードをどんどん売っていく必要があるかもしれない...😱
