Good morning everyone!
Let's talk blue Mondays..... This morning started quite blue as I really didn't get any sleep at all last night, no particular reason why, i was just awake most of the night counting 🐑 for hours on end... Nevertheless.. Got up bright and early for a walk with a friend which was funny because we both looked like we were sleepwalking... 😂
Fast toward to about 30 minutes ago and my light shade of blue Monday turned into a very dark, very navy shade of blue when a wasp stung me on my finger 🖕 whilst I was in the shower. I nearly had 3 heart attacks trying to get out of the shower and screaming at the kids something stung me not having seen what it was as I was swearing like a sailor from the pain and shock. I don't mind telling you that it hurt like a motherfluffer and that i cried a bit.
I made it to the room in one piece, the girl-child finding some antihistamine cream, a pain tablet and the Xman bringing an antihistamine tablet with a glass of water. Me... I just tried to breathe through my tears. I'm still hurting. In the meantime the X-man found the culprit and killed it dead. Bugger bugger bugger.. I hope i never experience something similar again. Fortunately it would seem the antihistamines kicked in and apart from a throbbing finger and slight headache I seem to be OK.
So......let's hope the rest of the day gets better. 😂 I have so many errands to run though I hope I make it through.
