I've lost count of how many times I drew my cat. I'm sorry, but I promise I'm going to move on to drawing something else. It's not very easy to find the models. I don't want to draw random dogs or cats on the internet. I spoke to my oldest daughter who works at a dog grooming office. I get to draw some doggies from it. It'll be fun to get commissions from HIVE community in the future as well.
Anyways, I’m drawing my cat Pepper. She is such a cutie!
I made a sketch a while ago. You can check the post about it HERE. It was a great idea to make a sketch first. It took less time to shape the object.
I'm going to be colouring using the sketch I drew. I reduced the opacity of the sketch first then started adding the colour.
何度うちの子を描いたか分からなくなってきました。うちの子ばかりでスミマセン。次は違うの描きます。モデルさんを探すのが大変なんです。ネットで見つけたワンコやニャンコを描くのはなんだか違うなと思うので。。。
長女ちゃんがペットサロンの事務の仕事をしているので、そちらのワンコを描かせてもらえることになりました。しばらくはモデルに困らないと思いますが、HIVEコミュニティのペットたちも描けたらいいなぁと思っています。
さてさて、ペッパーを描きます。ホントうちの子可愛いんです！笑
少し前にスケッチをしたので色を付けていきます。スケッチをした時の投稿はこちらです。
不透明度を下げてから色を置いていきます。
Adding more colours here. I added the details of one eye. I decided to leave another eye for later to finish because when both eyes are done I would usually feel like every work is done. I get unmotivated to finish the artwork.
さらに色を置いていきます。目を片方だけ仕上げましたが、もう片方は仕上げずにおこうと思います。両方仕上げてしまうと、全部仕上がったような気分になってしまうからです。
I changed the background colour to black. It's easy to see the details of the fur. I finally got to add the details of both eyes. I love drawing eyes.
背景を黒に変えました。毛並みを描くのにこの方が描きやすいです。
もう片方の目も仕上げました。ファンアートを描いている時もそうですが、目を描くのが好きな私です。
I changed the background to light mauve and added some sparkles. I almost forgot to add the whiskers!

最後に背景の色をモーヴに変えて少しキラキラを入れました。
仕上がった！思ったらヒゲを描くのを忘れていてバタバタしました。
