Hello! Hope you all are doing well. Today i am going to share details about how to make a rose candle at home with the help of molds. Ad all the materials required to make a candle will be included in this post.

Materials Required for Rose Candle

  1. Wax (I am using Soy wax, it is expensive as compared to paraffin but it is eco friendly and non toxic)
  2. Fragrance oil (if someone want unscented, you can skip it)
  3. Color / Pigments
  4. Rose Silicon Mold
  5. Thermometer
  6. Candle Wick (Wooden or cotton)

Equipments

  1. Double boiler or heat-safe melting jug
  2. Thermometer (optional but helpful as mentioned above as well)
  3. Stirring stick or spoon
  4. Scissors for trimming wicks
  5. Kitchen scale (for accurate measurements)

Basic Steps

Melt the wax using a double boiler or in a pan
Add candle dye and fragrance oil but on a certain temperature.
Secure the wick in the center of the rose mold with the help of holders.
Pour the wax into the mold.
Let it cool and harden completely.
Remove from the mold and trim the wick.
If you want double shade divide the wax into two portions add different colors add one of them and let the first point sit into mold and add the other divided colored wax.

Size

A medium-sized rose candle typically requires 80–120g of wax, depending on the mold size and grams 🌹✨
