What?
I was driven here, because of my interest in blockchain technology. I reasearched first bitcoin, then alt coins and then all of a sudden I discovered Steemit.
Lets's make some conclusions about that: I'm a geek ... I'm a lazy geek, I program for a living and half of my day I'm browsing the internet at work. So I do a lot of internet browsing. But I didn't know about steemit.
How did this happen? No seriously .... I'm a quizzer, teams ask me to be their technology guy in their team ... I know shit ... I know all the latest chip-sets by all the manufactures, all the latest/greatest javascript/java libraries. All build tools ... cloud hostings ... and about all esoteric technology things, I at least know very minimally what they are about. I build my own PCs, I have all consoles that ever existed, I mine goddamn coins, I have a raspberry PI with camera and I actually used it (unlike most people) ... I even have a fucking pretty expensive 3d printer! (and oh yeah: I'm listing these as hobbies, but that's my job too, I'm a full stack IT engineer java/javascript/html/whatever I don't give a shit)
And yet ... I'd never heard of Steemit ... Is it me? What did I do wrong? This is so revolutionary that I would expect everybody would now about it, but no?
