In my house we generally have not had pets, however a very special kitty came into our home. I really thought he was just visiting us and at some point he would leave, however he has been with us for almost a year now and now he is our cat I particularly like dogs more than cats, but cats have a certain something that has conquered my heart.
Today I want to present you a nice christmas cape with beanie for my dear cat, I hope you like it! it's a very simple steps but with all my love I share with you!

The first thing I did was to take some simple measurements of the circle of the head and then the measurement of the length of the coat that goes from the measurement of the neck to the body and the size of the length that you want.

These are the molds that I have taken to make the cape, which covers the cape piece and then the cap of the cape. Then from the cape I have taken one piece and from the beanie area I have taken two pieces. Then we place the pattern on the fabric and then cut it out.

We sew the pieces together by joining the two pieces through the seam, the vertical side should not be sewn, just sew the curve of it.

Then we must sew the edge of the vertical side of the beanie!

Next we must sew the cape with the cap area, then we must cut two braids and these we must sew them at both ends just at the termination or the union between the cape and the cap.

Then I have sewn a golden ribbon, and finally we must sew a garland around the edge of the cape.

Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive, espero que tengan un feliz inicio de semana. Las mascotas son parte de nuestras vidas y de la comunión familiar. En mi casa generalmente no hemos tenido mascotas, sin embargo llegó a nuestra casa un gatico muy especial. En realidad pensé que solo nos visitaba y en algún momento se iría, sin embargo ya tiene casi un año con nosotros y ahora es nuestro gato. Particularmente me gustan más los perros que los gatos, pero los gatos tienen un no sé qué que ha conquistado mi corazón.
El dia de hoy quiero presentarles una bonita capa de navidad con gorrito para mi querido gato, espero que les guste! son unos pasos muy sencillos pero que con todo el cariño comparto con ustedes!

Lo primero que hice fue tomar algunas medidas sencillas del circulo de la cabeza y luego la medida del largo de la capa que va desde la medida del cuello hasta el cuerpo y el tamaño del largo que se desea.

Estos son los moldes que he sacado para hacer la capa, Que abarca la pieza de la capa y luego el gorro de la misma. Seguidamente de la capa he sacado una pieza y de la zona del gorrito he sacado dos piezas. Luego Colocamos el patrón sobre la tela y luego recortamos esta.

Cosemos las piezas uniendo ambas a través de la costura, el lado vertical no se debe coser, solo se debe coser la curva de este.

Luego debemos coser el borde del lado vertical del gorrito!

Seguidamente debemos coser la capa con la zona del gorro, luego debemos cortar dos trenzas y estas la debemos coser en ambos extremos justo en la terminación o la unión entre la capa y el gorrito.

Luego le he cosido una cinta dorada, y finalmente debemos coser una guirnalda en toda la orilla de la capa.
