This week's tipple continues with my current passion for Amber ale with Doom Bar from Sharps Brewery in Rock Cornwall the 4%ABV is a classic Amber Ale with an excellent spicy nose of sweet roasted malts. The taste has subtle hints of dried fruit and malted hops. Certainly a very drinkable Beer.
Winner of a number of awards including a World Beer Silver in 2019. And named after the Dangerous sand bar on the exit of the river Camel.
The Sharps web site is really top-notch and one very nice touch is some help suggesting foods and some recipes to accompany a glass of Doom it really does go well with fish and chips but the recipe for** steak and doom bar pie** does look very tasty so I might give it a go one day soon.

Bear Saturday was another opportunity to catch up with @scubahead who is just leaving Leicester after a brief visit to his hometown in his new, to him, Narrowboat THE Badger. these online drinks sessions are becoming a very pleasant habit. But I cant wait to visit him in person when his travels take him a bit further south.
All for now hive BEER fans time for tea and something to soak up the aclchol.
