Another Saturday another Canal pub with @scubahead this time its the a Cape of Good Hope in Warwick on the Grand Union.
Todays tipple was Butty Batch by Wye Valley brewery. A 4.5 %ABV Butty Batch is little friend in Welsh a very old language used mostly when someone English walks into a pub.
That said its a cracking beer that goes down far to easily and a great beer for a session with your mates.
The Cape of Good hope is a privately owned pub with a great Pub Menu and beer garden along side the lock. You can access it from both sides of the canal by crossing the lock best stay a bit sober for the trip home.
And the really do great takeaway pizza with odd names like Gongoozler.
The only down side is walking back along the canal in the dark with hand fulls of hot pizza worth the risk though it was scrummy.
