As soon as i turned 18.... i went down to the local bar with a mate... to (legally) purchase a beer for the first time...... i went to the bar and ordered 2 beers..... the bar girl asked me “ would you like handles or jugs?” ( was living in NZ at the time, and beer only came in 2 sizes a handle (330ml) or a jug (750ml usually for sharing)). I looked confused so she picked up a pair of handles and asked if i would like those....... i responded “ those look perfect..... but I’m going to have to see your jugs”
I felt James Bond level Suave.... but sadly never got to see those jugs
