I’ve been thinking about LohummTi lately the smallest of the three characters and what his actual role looks like being a young member. I drew this image of him out in the transition zones, where the desert sand starts turning into deep frost, just hunting.
He’s looking for Yld’ka which probably just looks like a bunch of burnt, heavy rocks stuck in snow They are pockmarked, dark, and have that weird crust from falling through the sky. For the Nivukti, this is the "Star-Iron" in its raw, sleepiest form.

I am thinking the buckle with that moon grip could be an heirloom they pass down. Quite hard to gather the materials for and the forging too could be challenging hence the value

The conlang is sticking to the basics for now, too. I’m just calling the raw stuff Yld’ka because that’s all he cares about in the moment getting the stones from point A to point B. It’s slow progress, but it feels more real this way, starting with the dirt and the cold before getting into the fancy gear.
