Greetings friends! Yesterday seemed to be the national day of reflection photography since all Buenos Aires photographers and colleagues were with this theme, taking advantage of what the rains left to make good and interesting shots of the city regarding this photographic style. I decided to go out to what is known here as the microcenter of Buenos Aires to take a look at how the streets were.

I decided to wait to do the tour at a time where the sunlight was not so strong and also to wait a bit for the sunset to see what images I could capture. Indeed, the scenery for this type of photographs was served and I took the opportunity to try some shots and capture them in monochrome. It was also very helpful the type of sky that was there.

Saludos amigos! Ayer parecía ser el día nacional de la fotografía de reflejos ya que todos los fotógrafos de Buenos Aires y colegas estaban con ésta temática, aprovechando lo que dejó las lluvias para hacer buenas e interesantes tomas de la ciudad respecto a éste estilo fotográfico. Me animé a salir hacia lo que se conoce acá como el microcentro porteño a echar un vistazo de cómo estaban las calles.

Decidí esperar para hacer el recorrido en una hora dónde la luz del sol no fuese tan fuerte y así además esperar un poco el atardecer para ver qué imágenes podía captar. Efectivamente, el escenario para este tipo de fotografías estaba servido y aproveché para intentar algunas tomas y plasmarlas en monocromatico. Fue de mucha ayuda además el tipo de cielo que había.

In these pictures you can see the reflections from different points of view where is one of the subway stations in Buenos Aires, the obelisk of the city reflected using as support or support one of the service covers on one of the sidewalks and also another photo taken from Avenida Corrientes where you can also see the obelisk.

For some or most of the shots I took I had to opt for the wide angle function because the water on the ground was very close to the structures and in this way they were going to be cut off, so we zoomed out a bit to give me this function so that the structures are complete in the frame.

En éstas fotografías pueden observarse los reflejos de distintos puntos de vista en dónde se encuentra una de la estaciones del subterráneo de Buenos Aires, el obelisco de la ciudad reflejado utilizando de apoyo o soporte una de las tapas de servicio en una de las aceras y además otra foto tomadas desde la avenida corrientes donde también puede verse el obelisco.

Para algunas o en su mayoría de las tomas que hice tuve que optar por la función del gran angular ya que el agua en el piso estaba muy cerca de las estructuras y de esta forma éstas iban a quedar cortadas, así que alejamos un poco el zoom me diste esta función para que las estructuras queden completas en el encuadre.

For these last photographs I show you other reflections from other perspectives where the striking buildings of the area stand out and the passage of pedestrians and the same traffic were part of these compositions, which I did not have much need to accentuate editing by the type of light that I had, it provided me with some contrast and natural shadows.

So for the editing I only used a little black and white balance and a touch of focus for all these photos. So, what did you think of the monochromatic reflections captured yesterday in the microcentro porteño of the autonomous city of Buenos Aires?

Para estás últimas fotografías les muestro otros reflejos desde otras perspectivas en dónde sobresalen los llamativos edificios de la zona y el paso de los peatones y el mismo tráfico formaron parte de éstas composiciones, las cuales no tuve mucha necesidad de acentuarle edición por el tipo de luz que tenía, me proporcionó algo de contraste y sombras naturales.

Así que para la edición solo utilicé un poco el balance de negros y blancos y un toque de enfoque para todas estas fotos. Entonces, ¿Qué te han parecido los reflejos en monocromatico captados el día de ayer en el microcentro porteño de la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires?
